1. An Indonesian’s Prison Memoir Takes Holy War Into Cyberspace - Immam Samudra was charged with engineering the devestating Bali nightclub bombings two years ago. He has published a jailhouse autobiography. In the back of his autobiography is a chapter where he urges muslim radicals to take the holy war into cyberspace by attacking U.S. computers, with the particular aim of committing credit card fraud, called "carding". This chapter provides an outline on how to get started.

Google --- 21st Century Dewey Decimal System - Google making a big splash with news that it is partnering with some of the world's most prestigious universities to make it easier for Web users to scan the schools' vast library holdings. The library at Oxford University to begin converting their holdings into digital files that would be freely searchable over the Web. Other libraries will include Harvard University, and the New York Public Library.
6. Test version of search tool is unveiled by Microsoft - Microsoft has unveiled a new preliminary version of its search tool for finding documents, e-mail and other files stored on personal computer hard drives.

Bogus E-mail worries users of Cell Phones - The emails, often forwarded by friends, vary in wording, but the underlying message is always ominous: Soon, all cell phone numbers will be made public to telemarketing firms. It is not clear where the e-mails originated, but industry and government officials say they are an urban myth; they are not true. Telemarketers are barred from calling cell phone numbers. There is no list of cell phone numbers being turned over to telemarketers.
11. Stem Cells from Fat used to repair skull - Surgeons have used stem cells from fat to help repair skull damage in a 7 year old girl in Germany, in what's apparently the first time such fat-derived cells have been exploited to grow bone in a human.

but some have trouble playing beat up DVDs for example from Netflix. Check store
return policies incase you run into a bad unit.
- iPod accessories - FM Transmitters great for cars and Cases add some style
and individuality

- PDA organizers/organizer phones - Treo 650 is the hot one but all are
complex and not ready for the tech novice.
- Cell phones - Most have cameras but those cameras should not take the place
of a regular digital camera for most people. For some people, less is more on
cell phones. Simple phones are available if you ask.
- Portable video games (Sony/Nintendo) - Just released. Both doing well but
unknown who will dominate which is key to good games.

Show to be held in Las Vegas January 6-9 2005.
Jim Barry, Electronics Expert and spokesperson for the Consumer
Electronics Association (CEA) has appeared on countless news broadcasts, morning
shows and specialty programs around the country educating people about the
consumer electronics industry and its many product offerings. He is the former
editor of Video magazine and a 20-year veteran of consumer, trade and custom
magazine publishing. During that time he has been an award-winning editor,
writer and reporter, the president and CEO of a multi-million dollar corporate
division, and the publisher of several consumer and business magazines. As the
former president, CEO and editorial director of Custom Magazines, Inc., a
division of the Boston-based Crosby Vandenburgh Group, Mr. Barry launched and
