Brother Making Organization simple

The Brother P-Touch 1280 labeler is an excellent tool in getting your life more organized by accomplishing three household tasks: labeling items for easy identification, making labels that help improve safety around your home or providing labels that help give important instructions. It can be used everyday by all kinds of people in a wide range of applications.

The P-Touch 1280 uses laminated tapes which can withstand freezing temperatures, hot temperatures and moisture.  The protective laminate on the top of the label makes them extra durable so they can be used both indoors and outdoors.

So where to start... how about The garage: This is one of the first places many want to organize first when the weather gets warm since a lot of things get stored in this relatively small space, particularly during the winter months.  If you have a workbench with tools and hardware, organize items such as bolts and nails in individual boxes and label the boxes with the contents for easy identification.  You may also want to label power tools with specific usage instructions and old pesticide bottles with warnings if you have small children for safety reasons.

Spring and summer is also a time for many outdoor activities, such as team sports or just having a picnic with the family.  You can label water bottles and sports bags for easy identification and with contact information if you forget items in a park or in a friend's car.  If you pack a picnic lunch, label the food storage containers so you know to serve the sandwiches before the brownies without opening the lid. Since our P-Touch 1280 uses durable tape, the labels won't come off or fade in the dish washer, microwave or freezer.  However, the labels also won't scratch of leave residue on the surface of items if you decide to take the label off.

Summer camp is also top of mind as the school year comes to an end.  Label children's lunch boxes or bags with their name and contact info.  The P-Touch 1280 tape can also be ironed onto clothing, so you can label your child's sweatshirts that he/she may wear in the morning to camp, but take off as it gets warmer throughout the day.   Since many older children now have mobile devices, such as mp3 players and cell phones, you may want to label them with contact info in case they forget them somewhere on the camp grounds.

Beginning at about $39.00, the P-Touch 1280 is an economical way of organizing yourself during the spring and summer months as well as throughout the year and is available at Staples and other fine retailers.
